My name is Emma Garland, I'm a web developer/designer based in Cardiff. My core skill-set includes C# ASP.net programming (up to 4.0), CSS, HTML, JQuery, XSLT and Umbraco CMS development. 

I created this website as a platform to showcase the web solutions I have developed, to provide a portfolio of work I have done, and to test out some ideas in progress.

This website is content-managed and is based on the popular open source CMS solution Umbraco, along with custom functonality that I have integrated. Code used on this site includes ASP.net 4.0, JQuery, JQuery mobile, CSS3, and integration of third-party APIs including Twitter (using the open-source .net library Twitterizer), Google Maps and Flickr.
